Thank you for your interest in promoting the “Below the Surface” campaign, which aims to raise awareness — especially among El Paso County teens — of Colorado Crisis Services’ text line. We are fortunate to have some generous local funders powering this campaign, including the Colorado Springs Health Foundation, Rocky Mountain Crisis Services, AspenPointe, and the Carl George Bjorkman Foundation. But we need more help. We need your help — and so do the thousands of area teens wrestling with depression, anxiety, social and family strife, and other issues that can lead to crisis situations.

HOW TO: Be an Ambassador

We want the job to be as easy as it is important. It’s all about ensuring that people in your orbit — loved ones, friends, neighbors, coworkers — know about the free, professional counseling services available by texting 38255. You can start by:

  • talking to people about the text line and this website
  • deploying your posters and business cards
  • remembering to use your digital assets when you can

Click the button to the right, and you’ll get access to eight “Below the Surface” graphics. Feel free to include them in your newsletters and other forms of electronic communication. (Note: They’ll be too large for use in email signatures.)

Got a question about the campaign? An idea for improving it? Suggestions for reaching more local teens? We’d love to get an email from you.
